Help files under Windows Vista and Windows 7                             Home page
You may have difficulty accessing the .HLP files used by
WALLAP, SLOPE and GWALL when running them under
Windows Vista and Windows 7.

The following utilities are provided by Microsoft

Download WinHlp32.exe for Windows Server 2008    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=114216

Then click where it says
      Continue Validation required
and follow the instructions

Choosing a suitable installation folder
The default Destination Folder is usually C:\Program Files\program .
For Vista and Windows 7 systems you should not install to C:\Program Files
but create a new folder directly off the root of C:. Click Browse to select
a different folder or enter the path name in the box.

Network installations Policy defaults on a domain based network may block the use
of .hlp files (over the local network).The administrator has to
modify domain policy (it will then apply to all users).

The main problems with VISTA and Windows 7 seem to be
related to permissions and specifically the need to be
‘trusted installer’ to change the properties of system files.
